Lamar Community College proudly offers its students direct access to online course offerings, certificates, and associate degree programs through an association with the Colorado Community College System. Many LCC courses are also taught as "hybrid courses" with a mix of both classroom instruction and an online component, i.e., threaded discussions, email.

LCC Online Grievance & Appeal Procedures
If you are taking any LCC Online courses, and you have a complaint about your experience with Lamar Community College, you have two options:

Follow Lamar Community College’s process for student complaints, which is located in LCC's Student Handbook. You may also contact the Higher Learning Commission, which is Lamar Community College’s accrediting agency.

If you reside outside of Colorado while attending Lamar Community College, in many cases you can file a complaint in the state where you are residing. As required by federal regulations, the State Higher Education Executive Officers (SHEEO) has provided a state listing of where complaints can be filed.
Before exercising either of the above options, you should know that most (if not all) external complaint processes require that the student exhaust all avenues of complaint internal to the institution before they will consider a grievance.
