(Certified) Nurse Aide: The Nurse Aide certificate allows a student to enter the nursing occupation at its most basic level. Successful completion of the course qualifies the student to take the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) Examination. Nurse Aide Certificate Plan.

Emergency Medical Technician - Basic: Successful completion of the Emergency Medical Technician - Basic certificate allows a student to sit for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Basic Exam. The curriculum includes basic trauma and medical assessment as well as treatment of the sick and injured. In most cases, EMS students qualify for partial or full scholarships. Health IT Certificates: LCC now offers four intensive certificates in Health Information Technology. Health IT scholarships are available. Contact Greg Andrade at 719.336.1538 or gregory.andrade@lamarcc.edu for more information and to select the certificate that is right for you!

        Health IT Design: Workers in this role provide assistance to healthcare teams and design meaningful uses of technology to provide optimal patient-centered care.

        Health IT Implementation Management: Workers in this role provide management of implementation processes for Health IT systems in clinical and public health settings.

        Health IT Implementation Support: Workers in this role provide user support for implementing Health IT systems. These individuals provide support services above and beyond what is provided by the vendor, to be sure the technology functions properly and is configured to meet the needs of the redesigned practice workflow.

        Health IT Technical Support: On an ongoing basis, workers in this role support the technology deployed in clinical and public health settings, including patching and upgrading software. They also provide one-on-one support, in a traditional "help desk" model, to individual users with questions or problems.

Gainful Employment Disclosure Information
