The following webpages are designed to give prospective and current students information regarding entrance and successful completion in the LCC Nursing Program.

Consult LCC's Allied Health page for additional information regarding LCC's Nurse Aide Program.

LCC's Nursing Program is an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing degree with an option for students to test for an Practical Nursing Licensure (or re-enter the program as an LPN to RN). Graduates are eligible to test for Registered Nurse licensure.

The LCC Nursing program boasts a hearty NCLEX-RN pass rate. The 2010 national average pass rate for first time test takers educated in the United States is 87.41%. The 2009 LCC NCLEX-RN pass rate is 95.0%, and the 2010 pass rate is 93.0%.

The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) has awarded Candidate Status to LCC's Associate Nursing Program (June 2010 - June 2012). Both an NLNAC site review team and an external review panel have recommended LCC for accreditation on 9/20/11 and 2/2/12 respectively. The NLNAC Commission will meet on March 2, 2012 for final accreditation.

LCC's Nursing program is fully approved by the Colorado State Board of Nursing and the Colorado Community College System.
