Nursing Programs Admission Criteria

All programs require that students have been admitted to the college before applying for the nursing program
In addition to meeting all admission requirements that new students meet, students must be either a graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program within the USA or hold a Colorado Practical Nurse license or a permit in good standing or be a recent (within 6 months) graduate of a CCCS nursing program.
Students who have completed the first year at Lamar Community College have priority for admission to the second year.
