On March 22, 2008 Lamar Community College Head Coach Scott Crampton picked up his 600th win of his career in a 12-2 victory over Otero Junior College. His career mark stands at 619-262. Under Crampton’s guidance Lamar Community College has averaged 41 wins a season for 15 years. The club has accrued eight Conference titles, six Regional titles, and one World Series appearance (2002) during Crampton’s tenure.
