Livestock Judging

Livestock Judging is the perfect compliment to your education at Lamar. You will learn to accurately evaluate market and breeding livestock, including cattle, sheep, hogs, meat goats, and the occasional horse. You will acquire valuable decision making and communication skills necessary in the agricultural industry. Our program instills confidence, leadership, and teamwork qualities that are best learned outside the classroom.

Livestock Judging will allow you to apply your knowledge and experience at national contests. This allows for meeting and networking with the industry leaders throughout the country. LCC is located in the heart of Colorado cattle country and provides for some of the best opportunities to evaluate livestock on a daily basis.
