Student Life
The Lamar Community College campus is located on the southern edge of the City of Lamar on Highway 287. Its facilities are maintained on a spacious and visually inspiring 115-acre campus, bounded on the east by lush Willow Creek, a wooded area that is home to deer and a large variety of birds and other wildlife.
In addition to an outstanding education, LCC offers exceptional facilities, student resources, and activities that help students excel inside and outside the classroom. The campus has completed an $11-million renovation that features extensive technology upgrades, studio and classroom enhancements, and a new, state-of-the-art Wellness Center, which houses student healthcare facilities, a new gymnasium, and weight room.
