Student Government Association

The Lamar Community College Student Government Association is comprised of 15 students who play a prominent role in student life. SGA is the governing fee board responsible for allocating student fee monies. They also are involved in formulating many of the rules and policies set forth by the College. State Student Advisory Council

The purpose of the State Student Advisory Council (SSAC) is to serve as an advisory body to the Colorado State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education. Members of the SSAC are elected by a vote of their respective student bodies. LCC elects a SSAC Representative each year.
