Campus Health Center

The Campus Health Center (CHC) is an on-campus service for LCC students, staff, and community members. Full-time students are automatically eligible for free services at the CHC. Part-time students and staff members can elect to pay a small fee per semester to receive free visits to the Health Center. Clinic services are available to community members on a sliding fee scale.

The CHC is staffed by High Plains Community Health Center personnel. Diagnosis, treatment and/or referrals are made by High Plains’ doctors, physician assistants, or nurse practitioners.

The Health Center accepts any and all insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid. Commercial insurance is billed as the primary payer and the LCC benefit would cover any denied office visits. The sliding scale can be used to reduce additional services that may not be paid by insurance.

Clients of the Campus Health Center are entitled to free transportation via Prowers Area Transit for medical-related services. Call (719) 336-8034 to make travel arrangements.
