All students must submit an Application for
Admission and immunization records prior to registration. The application
is the Uniform Application for Admission form used by Colorado community
colleges and may be obtained from high school counselors or directly from
the College.

Application requirements
High school students
Submit the completed application form and immunization
records.
Request that high school forward final official
transcripts to the Lamar Community College Office of Admissions &
Records.
General Education Development (GED)certificate students
Submit the completed application form and immunization
records.
Submit a copy of the GED test scores.
Home school students
Submit the completed application form and immunization
records.
Submit copies of all nationally standardized test
results (achievement test).
If any courses were taken at a traditional high school,
submit all transcripts.
Transfer students
Submit the completed application form and immunization
records.
Request that each previously attended college or
university send official transcripts to the Lamar Community College
Office of Admissions & Records.
Athletes
Submit the completed application form and immunization
records.
Request that the high school forward official transcripts
to the Lamar Community College Registrars Office.
Submit medical examination report. (The students
own physician should complete this examination well in advance of registration
time, and the athlete should forward the report to the respective coach
at or before the time of registration. The medical examination report
form can be obtained from the respective coach.)
International students
Submit completed International Student Application
form and immunization records. This is available from the Office of
Admissions. Do not fill out the standard application form.
Submit a copy of high school transcripts in English.
Submit evidence of ability to pay costs of education.
Special needs students
Lamar Community College provides needed accommodations to students with
documented disabilities. Documentation must arrive to the College no later
than two weeks prior to assessment and course enrollment.

Veterans
Lamar Community College cooperates with the Veterans Administration and
with the Colorado State Approving Agency for Veterans Education and
Training. The College is approved for training of veterans under all
applicable laws. Veterans or eligible persons are cautioned to obtain
proper counseling and to complete proper registration at the College
to assure their courses of study are approved curricula. For specific
