Several items should be accomplished in the weeks and months before commencement.
Intent to graduate: Individuals who believe they are eligible to walk in Commencement due to a fall 2009 or spring/summer 2010 completion, must have an approved Intent to Graduate on file. The spring semester deadline for intents was October 1, 2009. For questions, please contact the Office of Admissions at 719-336-1592.
Caps & gowns: Graduates should complete the postcard enclosed in a letter to graduates dated March 10th. The postcard requests your name, contact information, height, and approximate size and should be returned to Student Services by March 27th. All students who have turned in Intent to Graduate forms for spring or summer have been assessed a graduation fee this semester. Those who graduated in the fall will need to pay a graduation fee while ordering your cap and gown. In either event, your cap and gown will be yours to keep. They will be available the week of May 3rd for pick-up. For more information, contact at 719-336-1580 or information@lamarcc.edu.
