Lamar Community College Learning Support Services operates a comprehensive learning center that includes two tutoring labs. The main lab is located in Bowman 129 along with a test proctoring center in Bowman Room 147. They are staffed by highly educated, experienced, and dedicated professionals.
The Learning Center offers professional and peer tutoring in math, reading, English, writing and also offers college placement in ACCUPLACER testing services.
Students are also welcome to use the labs full range of computer applications: word processing, PowerPoint, Access, and other database management tools at any time.
The Bowman Learning Center is open from Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
