Wellness Center
The Wellness Center is Lamar Community College's newest building. Completed in 2001, it houses a Campus Health Center, Fitness Center, gymnasium, indoor walking track, athletic office complex and conference room, as well as locker rooms and training room.

Artwork
Colorado artist Reven Swanson created the Wellness Center's signature artwork that spans the Center's two stories. "Dancing Prairie Spirits" parallels the resiliency of many of the plains flora with its the area's settlers. The sculptural bas-relief construction creates a dramatic effect to interact with viewers standing in various locations in the Wellness Center.
